I want marathon to fail because it’s just another slop extraction shooter,I want destiny to be directed properly because it’s good but it can be a million times better without greedy big wigs.

You have changed Destiny before. Do not pretend otherwise. When Beyond Light and sunsetting drove the community to the brink, Guardians unified loudly enough that Bungie reversed course on some of the most controversial systems in franchise history. Even Luke Smith himself became part of the offering upon the altar of public sentiment. Feedback. Petitions. Outrage. Pressure. You wielded them like weapons. And now… another crossroads reveals itself. Do you truly believe millionaires, executives, shareholders, and strategists are blind? Foolish? Unprepared? No. They watch. Always. Sony and Bungie are observing what comes next with ravenous attention: Player counts. Engagement. Retention. Sales. Sentiment. Creator activity. Social momentum. Reviews. Long-term activity after launch. Monument of Triumph is no longer merely an update. It is a test. A test of whether Destiny still possesses the power to rally millions together in 2026. Passion. Presence. Encourage people to: Return on June 9th. Bring back old fireteam members and forgotten clanmates. Revisit raids and destinations once thought abandoned. No need to advocate. Bungie failed. Marathon failed. Destiny faded away.

The one unmissable reality hitting the gaming industry is that Live Service games are financial sinkholes. An alternative model needs to be developed…most likely one based on a Subscription Service. The underlying issue re BHQ vs. The Community, is that after all of the years of non-stop shenanigans, and the ‘poisoned chalice’ those rats that have jumped ship with their 30pcs of gold, have left behind, is that WE don’t trust them anymore. [b][i]I daresay, Sony / PlayStation doesn’t trust them either…after being possibly ‘oversold’ (duped) on their overpriced lemon by Auto-Pete and his C Suite crew?! the only problem with your post is calling it "analysis" Analyzing something usually results in constructive criticism and accurate data, which nobody that complains can seem to give. Not logging in on June 9th. Bungie does not deserve that. I will get on eventually. But I am not rushing on line June 9th after work. Most of what is being added is not real content. Pantheon is not for average players. Chasing tier rolls from old dungeons and raids is not content, it is grind. working on replacing all your exotics with new drops is not content, it is more grind. Sparrow racing, is going to award what exactly? All of it is too little too late.
