Thinking about returning... is it worth it?
Hello everyone.
It's 3am where I live, I apologize in advance if some of the things I say don't make sense, I'm tired but I need to say this, mostly because the last few days have been rough, it's been like a puch to the gut.
Back in 2014 I went to the closest gaming shop and I purchased my PlayStation 4 and along with it it came the blu-ray disk. Now I have to be honest, I played some parts of the campaign but I never did raids for example or collect many of the things that there is to collect and achieve, I think that I only played the cmpaign of the base game but none of the expansions and/or dlc's, on the other hand I did spend many hours in Destiny 2, I also stopped here and there but I did stop more than once unitl i fully quit.
A few hours ago, I was with some friends in discord and we were talking about the Destiny 2 situation, fortunately the servers will be online depite no more content being released.
This got me thinking if it would be worth it to come back and enjoy all that Destiny 1 has to offer? I forgot many of the things that I can possibly do in Destiny 1 but I have seen a couple of videos and the game still looks good and feels worth to go back to.
I wanted to know your opinion about this, I'm even thinking about buying an Xbox or PS5 and just play Destiny1!

I legitimately like D1 more than D2 right now. The game balance is better and it has a complete story. D2 has a TON of quality of life upgrades that you will miss, however none of the make up for the unbalanced mess of ability spam that dominates that game. We'll see how much of that gets addressed on the 9th. Until then, D1 Age of Triumph is EASILY better than D2, Shadow of Pete.

It is totally worth it the nostalgia and the vibe of destiny is amazing plus you can experience wrath of the machine a raid all over again which is a fun exclusive destiny 1 raid and og vog is a good experience -
I am going to get back into Destiny 1 and believe that it is very worth getting back into. I only moved away from Destiny 1 because we were so involved with Destiny 2. I have posted a question on how we can transfer our license to newer generation consoles after we owned and bought all of the DLC for Destiny 1. So is so much nostalgia, and content to get back into.
