Bad jokes aside, I've been playing Destiny for roughly 6 years now - and it does sadden me that their maintenance and so on is going down next month, but with how Bungie has treated Destiny 2.. I can say that it's for the best. I won't go into great detail as to why I think that way since everyone and their father has spoken (or complained about it).
But.. Warframe is another game I've been playing for 6 years too, alongside Destiny. Since I started that journey, I've only ever seen an increase in content quality. DE always puts the community first, and it's one of the very few games where it's mostly Free-to-Play so long as you put in the effort to make it so. Next month comes the continuation of Sorren/Stalker's story which comes with some beautiful content.
As someone who has been playing as a Guardian and Tenno, I can definitely recommend Warframe to a good chunk of you. It has a slow start, and it can be a bit confusing at times - but I promise it can be a very rewarding experience when you start learning the ins and outs. The community on there, especially the Q&A section is incredibly friendly and there'll always be a lad who'll answer a question you have. Best part about it is you can play every chunk of Warframe completely solo, and not be completely reliant on players.
However, I'll always appreciate the memories I've made on Destiny (and the Arc Melee Spam Builds), before 75% of the community took a nosedive with Bungie.
I'm definitely going to fully migrate myself to Warframe, so hopefully I'll see some of you in the Origin System.

[Personal Note]
I get a good chunk of you won't give a damn, that is to be expected. The whole point of this rant is just to say my farewells, to thank the community for helping me through some of the endgame content when Destiny was a more friendly place, and to recommend a solid game that rewards persistence and patience. Warframe is definitely not for everyone, we all have our own opinions and interests - I can respect that. I wish you all the best, Guardians.

WarFrame is a great game…but it’s not for everyone. If you’ve never tried it, give it a go…you might just like it. The onboard curve is a bit steep, persevere, and you’ll soon get it! Hint: Excalibur / katana…thank me later! 🤔 My Tenno (MR24) built his own dojo, and skyjack ship (?)…and that’s when I left WF and returned to Destiny’s shores. I have logged back in a few times since…but, after a brief nostalgic moment or two - I bounced. I think my time as a Tenno is done…I just don’t have the energy to re-engage with the game. However, in light of recent events, that may change…unless Game Cube launches!? Some of my favourite things about WarFrame are the music / the movement / the gunplay / the incredible environments / the planets & mission tracks / crating mods / trading / grind or ‘whale’ it / the Community / my ship / my own favourite Tenno frame…and more besides! Hated the Zaramon update,hated the spiral stuff & when we got loid out I skipped all thr cut scenes logged out & never logged in again. Think theres still about 30k Plat on my account. Didnt like being used as a test subject for soul frame & thd focus school changes killed operator playstyle using offensive Zenurik abilities because they removed them all.

I've done my time in warframe, it's an okay game, but I'm not interested in going back to it, sorry bud. I will spend more time in The Division 2, but I'm not investing any significant time in live service games like I did Destiny 2.

I played Warframe for a while (MR21) but dropped off a little after Plains of Eidolon was added. I didn’t enjoy the Plains content, really disliked archwing missions and have never forgiven them after they nerfed Ember into the ground.

Warframe has its own consistent community and I love it. Been playing Warframe since 2019 I believe. Community is very nice, weird but very nice. Global chat has some of the most interesting conversations

I tried Warframe about twelve years ago after I started Destiny. I couldn't get used to the third person view so my oldest son took over the account. I watch him and youngest play together and couldn't watch it as they were moving way too fast for me to keep up.
