Hi,
My destiny 2 account was banned quite some time ago after I hadn’t played in a while. I live in a region where the playerbase is really small and the only thing I believe I could have been banned for was heavy vpn usage. I admit I had taken advantage of this over 2 years ago in pvp for only a couple of games to match Chinese macro farmers to farm kd but this was over 2 years ago. I only solo in pvp (Which I hardly play) and when playing PVE I do my best to avoid cheaters even though how common it seems to be encountering them in fireteam finder. I know the game doesn’t have much longer left but I would like to be able to enjoy the last of it. I don’t care if I’m given a pvp ban for using a vpn, but for PVE it’s essential for me as due to me living in a isolated region I can’t find players to complete public matchmaking and exploration activities. I just want to be able to explain and provide any evidence for everything. I never cheated had multiple day one clears and Thousands of hours. This was one of the only games I played that had a very inviting and positive community. It sucks that my experience will be cut short. If anyone could also provide emails with executives I can get in contact with that would also be appreciated. I filed a appeal around the end of march and heard nothing back which seems to be really common.

2 RepliesHey there, the forum can't assist with ban appeals other than direct you to the ban appeal form, which you've already filled in. That form was the place for the explanations. You only receive a reply back from Bungie if they intend to overturn the ban or require further information. If neither happen within 4-6 weeks of raising the appeal, it can be assumed that the ban is being upheld.
