Self-pity post inbound, feel free to disregard. It hurts a little inside to hear that Destiny will never be getting another update, but I know begging won't change that. Instead, I want to ask that Not Forgotten, possibly even Luna's Howl, have it's frame returned to a 180rpm and it's perk brought back to what it was. This is gonna sound dumb and cheesy, but after losing my dad while I was 18, and going through the worst slump of my life, I threw myself into competitive. Whether out of self loathing, or just trying to occupy my mind, I don't know. The lore of Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten resonated with me heavily at the time, for obvious reasons. Earning Not Forgotten was, in some sense, my way of saying goodbye, and that my father would be just that, not forgotten. I get that the perk and the frame in conjunction were very strong for the time they held their grip on the crucible, but I did genuinely enjoy using them in both PvE and PvP, even after the nerfs, I still kept NF in my loadout. It was my Ol' Reliable, something I could always find comfort in, and every now and then, I'd just stare at the gun and reminisce. Bungie, if it's at all possible, could you bring Not Forgotten back to what it was for the final update? I know Luna got it's re-release with some fantastic perks, and that's great, but it hurts to see NF get, well, forgotten. I just want to see the gun I love more than any other be useful in PvE again. It could even be an Exotic, that's fine with me. I'd give up my whole vault for an old NF. I know the chances are slim to none, but it really would mean the world to me.
