Bungie is like Bud Light, both business were and are tone deaf to their customer base. This is why Bungie is in the shape its in. Players were telling Bungie what the wanted but did Bungie listen and try and incorporate those ideas, apparently not. So here we are, Bungie because of terrible business decisions with Destiny 2 is closing it down. They say they will keep Destiny 2 alive so new players can enjoy it and old players can come back to it. That's a load of Bull Manure, the Destiny franchise is now on life support, and at some point Bungie will pull the plug. As far as Bungie focusing on Marathon, just comparing the 2014 roll out of Destiny vs the 2026 Roll out of Marathon, Marathon is dead on arrival. I remember standing in line at Best Buy to purchase Destiny in 2014, and with Marathon, this game doesn't even interest me. I don't know what Bungie is going to do but maybe Bungie's leadership might want to go back in time and figure out what they did right and where they went wrong. After that, do less wrong. Build Destiny 3 and make it spectacular, you know, build it and they will come. That's it, re-watch Field of Dreams for motivation!
