You done broke my heart

I don’t really know how to explain what Destiny meant to me without sounding dramatic, but the truth is: it was never just a game. Destiny became a place tied to memories, friendships, routines, late nights, difficult moments, and some genuinely unforgettable experiences. The laughs, the atmosphere, the lore, the raids, the feeling of stepping into orbit after a long day, it has all mattered more than I think even some of us players realized at the time. Destiny 3, please

  • See, when I say, to me it wasn't just a game, I truly mean it. For me it is a concept of the superposition of mankinds achievement with quantum computers, ASI, and iterations of reality. Where some far flung future of man, from another spatial reality, retroactively manifested mankinds Destiny. It's why they were having problems figuring out what the darkness was in this game, having to understand a quantum computer, ASI, and infinite iterations of failure until the singularity of a design that would allow man to not become completely subjected to the ASI's design.

    • I hadn’t played since the release of renegades as I didn’t like the direction it was going. But hearing the news killed me. I’ve played destiny since I was 14-15 and I’m going on 27 now. This game was truly truly something special, and could’ve continued for a long time if they just listened to the community. I think what hurts the most is how it’s ended, no warnings, no planning ahead, just straight “hey this is it in like a week”. I don’t know how true it is but apparently devs have been speaking out on how they don’t even know this was happening until the announcement went public. Some even saying they were almost finished with the next DLC release when this happened.
