This was heartbreaking to see.
Honestly haven’t touched destiny since renegades dropped. I really tried to give the last 2 expansions a chance but I just couldn’t. Just saw scrolling through TikTok about destiny 2s final update and man that killed me to see.
I’ve played destiny since d1 dark below released when I was 14. I’m going on 27 now and destiny as a whole has let this special place in my heart. I really wish things would’ve ended after the final shape if anything as in my opinion that would’ve been the best place. That expansion brought me to tears.
I understand that they kinda hit the point of no return with what they did to the game, killing the love the die hard fans had for it but it’s extremely heartbreaking to actually see destiny coming to an official end. Till next time guardians 🧡

3 RepliesTFS was the logical exit point, but Bungle arrogance and greed got us here. Fortunately I played after they ripped out D2's still beating heart so, while I still go in occassionally, I have already made my peace with the game not being what I fell in love with. The ones who actually liked the changes (and new players ... I assume they exist) are the ones that are going to feel this the most.
