Now that d2 wont get anymore updates after June im guessing that also means the anti cheat aswell, so all these titles you were so proud of or weapons/content you wanted gatekept wont mean anything now since players will use mods and cheats to extend the life of the game and to unlock them which they will because the data is still in the game, so question is was it worth d2 losing its mass majority of players to end up a discontinued game?
