There will be no further tuning of the PvP sandbox. Which means from here on out you will be at a disadvantage if you play anything but Void or Solar Hunter. Titans, other than their insanely long Captain Cosmodrome super, are strangely balanced. Warlocks have an Ok ish pool of abilities to work with.
But being able to turn invisible every five seconds, knocking out your ability to use your radar, while pinging your radar elsewhere with a smoke grenade, then using the tankiest, most OP roaming super? Or using a Throwing Knife that instantly tracks to your head (I have a clip of it sailing past my head and then coming right back) with a super that can automatically aim and kill you from across the map?
Is it even worth it to play PvP now?

They're doing another large sweeping tuning pass and many new things are being added. We have no idea what the "forever sandbox" will end up on.

...tankiest, most OP roaming super?...
Just want to correct you on this one. I think every Titan super has more dr than Hunter supers. Also, believe it or not, Sentinel Shield is almost objectively the strongest pvp super, it's just that it has flown under the radar. When I did my Titan only competitive Ascendant challenge, I started using Sentinel Shield and never lost another super battle again. The only thing that can take you down is Stasis Warlock, Silence and Squal, and Shadow Shot, but you can also just bait them and run away. Otherwise, I also hate invis spam. And I mained Hunter for most of my time in Destiny. Cheers!

I expect there will be some final balance changes to Crucible shared with us soon (maybe those new aspects mentioned could mix things up a little) but I will concede that hunters will surely remain on top regardless forever.

3 RepliesI use only stasis hunter. They are not a problem.
