Destiny 3, Marathon, or something else?
I think Destiny 3 would be good going back in time to the either the founding of the last city or the collapse. Easy banger. The only thing is making sure the raids aren't stupidly difficult with randoms and/or mics. Maybe a few, but none of the main story raids.
Bungie expressed interest in making Marathon a PVE exclusive game type, but I ain't touching that 🐶💩.

As it is, they can barely manage Marathon and the sheer amount of needed time, resources and funding(which Sony definitely are gonna be watching under a microscope) under the current challenges like the state of the economy and impending layoffs? These "incubation projects" are gonna starve them before they can get anything out. The only realistic option I see is them going all in on Marathon, which is a big hurdle for a super niche game that has lost so much steam already.
