Game Is Not Dead Yet, Please Leave Sandbox In A Healthy State
The game will be playable up to the point when games take too long to find. Not all activities will reach this limit at the same time. Trials will probably go first, then comp, then control.. Basically, we have a while before the game is truly "dead".
It also depends on where you live. Players in the US will be able to play matchmade activities the longest. Players in lower populated areas will see the first signs of "death".
If you are a solo player, the game may never feel "dead" to you. As long as you don't participate in matchmade activities, nothing will change.
My biggest concern is that Bungie will leave the PVP sandbox in a bad state when they finish with their updates. I really hope they have at least one balance patch scheduled after the new abilities go live.

I hope they give us some sort of feasible weapon changes to use against champions. The current artifact sucks.

5 RepliesI'm weirdly more concerned for PvE. D2 goes down and we can't even use our Primary weapons?? It's only a lightsaber and abilities, with double specials? Ugh.

Hopefully they do, but I’m reminded of the way they left Special at the end of D1, so I don’t have hope for them to do so.

2 RepliesNever really cared for their pvp side. I mean, I always hoped they would do something for those that live and breathe pvp. But clearly, that never was their intention or didn't want to invest into it.

1 ReplyLets just see how long this will take. Crucible was always the mode that kept me in. Im casual yes and might suck at Crucible, but i dont care I like it. Love to hop into few crucible games after hard week at work, take couble beers and have fun. There is no other pvp game that has so good gunplay and opportunity to have so much variety how you play. Meh, sucks.

1 ReplyThey should have a auto monthly or bi-monthly weapon ability tuning rotation in crucible. They have collected enough data to easily do this. Zero sbmm Maps on auto rotation every 3 months This should have been the way from the start really.

Trials will last longer then you think alot of players log in to just play trials cause control and state of comp is terrible -

Im with you on that request, just doubt they have it in them anymore after the last couple of years. Im more concerned they try and leave it utterly broken.
