They’ll never listen dude. The writing was on the wall once it became apparent the devs cared more about inclusive emblems and pronouns than making a good game. Gaming, as with many hobbies is a form of escapism, the world we live in is so conflicted whether you believe in what Bungie was saying/doing or not and the destiny world was a perfect place to go and escape that, or at least it was. I stuck around until we killed the witness, just came back here to see everyone blaming Sony, quite funny. Was it Sony that made all the decisions that alienated some players? I don’t think so. Anyway, to those guardians I shared laughs with I say thank you. As for Destiny itself, I’ll always think of it as a “what could have been” and I’ll always think of Bungie as an extremist with good intentions, those good intentions, for me, is what truly killed Destiny.

5 RepliesI mean this is a game that's been alive for nearly 9 years. Destiny 2 is definitely a success and it's not like the IP is shutting down either. really D2 should've shutdown after heresy then have EoF as the D3 base campaign. Destiny 2 ran it's course and that's fine, it was going to happen sooner or later. the only thing I'm disappointed in is that redwar and forsaken didn't get unvaulted, but other than that this is kinda a perfect sendoff for D2. but ik you're going to completely ignore what I wrote anyways and say "nuh uh, this game sucks and always has sucked" or something of the sort.

2 RepliesThe glazers on reddit were out in full force, saying they cant wait for bungie to make a d3. I get that years ago people at a company called bungie made a good game, but very little in the last 3 years has made me think the people working at bungie today would do a good job with destiny. Honestly I can't imagine giving bungie any more money to find out.

4 RepliesYes. They needn't be bashful. Come, claim your rewards. After all, the death of Destiny is a victory they all eagerly worked towards. Maybe not intentionally, but every time they shot down criticism, or made excuses, or overdelivered the praise they gave over the smallest victory to Bungie was just one more step down this path.

8 RepliesThey're still clinging to the idea that Bungie is going to start working on D3. Is it possible? Maybe. Bungie did mention they were working on a bunch of incubation projects. And we got the news of D2 going dark the same week we hear about a State of Play. Is it likely? No. Bungie has significantly hurt Sony financially. I doubt Sony is going to want Bungie front and center in advertisement. Bungie will probably have thirty seconds to talk about the next season of Marathon, and that's it.
