And just like that, it’s over. They’ve announced the end.
It’s been a fun ride guys, our last live service update will be the June one. The plug has been pulled on the game and who knows if we will get a destiny 3.

14 RepliesThe worst part is how low of a note we're leaving it off on. Community morale is so low it went through the Earth's core and is still going. Bungie assured us Destiny was still high on their priority list, yet it's the first thing to get gutted. So many plot lines are never going to be resolved. They aren't even bringing everything we lost back. I'm not surprised by this news. But this really should have come after Final Shape when the Community morale was higher.

2 RepliesSo Sad. Been here since Destiny 1. Its Crazy the Devs dont understand the real value of the Destiny Franchise. I would pick D2 over Marathon anyday. Unreliable Devs picking Marathon over D2 is nuts. Hope Marathon flops even harder now. Give the Destiny IP to another game studio but we will know more for sure.

I’m beyond angry. The death of Destiny 2 caused by hubris, ego, apathy and greed of the very people who should have championed this franchise over the ridiculous niche extraction shooter. Once I’ve have my fill, that’ll be it. I’ll not need to purchase another PSN Plus, or another console. I’ll go back to my switch 1 and older consoles and play all those games I didn’t have chance to wasting my time with this franchise. I despise Bungie for doing this and ending the seasonal events, Christmas won’t be Christmas without the Dawning. The last 12 years it’s been just so festive in the tower. If you think that we will be buying Marathon now you are sorely mistaken. Hell will freeze over first.

Not really a surprise for me. Now they say they listend to Fan Requests and such....does that mean the original Tower is finally repaired after 9 years? (it obviously wont be) xD
