Hi to all .

Im Sad and mad at the same time , last week-end saturday i got home around 23h
i tryed to log in to my account and i got the surprise NOT SO FAST! This account is banned .
I play destiny since 2014
My son played with a friend on my pc that day and they messed around on some games with mod menus . No clue why or what they did , they just told me that they went on my account to play a bit Destiny and try some weapons , and they got banned after running the game for 2h .
Did they left a mod menu on while testing my guns on Destiny , i dont know , anyway my account is permanent banned .
What makes me Sad and mad is that i never used cheats or whatever , and enjoyed every hour playing the game for years , spend a lot of money in the game and bought every content avalable .
Its pissing me of , really , the game is full of hackers in the crucible and we match up against them almost every week end , the same guys , aimbotting the sh!t out of the game , and they still doing it today , for weeks , months and they are not banned.
I know That Bungie never will answer me , and never unban my account .
But at least they could be a bit less radical , give a 2 months Ban or something and if That personne cheat or something else again then give a permanent ban .
i know also that its my job to keep my account safe , but i never thought that my son gets me banned , not after playing some times just for fun on my account to test out newly acquired gear and weapons .
Its just Sad that my journey needs to end like this .

Wants lighter punishment for use of cheats and hacks. Brother/Sister in the light, you got exactly what happens to players whose accounts are detected breaking the rules. My dog ate my homework type excuses do not work or every banned player would say their kid did it to have the ban removed. Lesson learned the hard way. dont let anyone play on your account unless you are ready to accept the consequences for their actions.

If you have already submitted a ticket, you have done all you can, and will need to wait for a response. Ban appeals are not conducted on the forums.

Man, im so sorry this happened to you guardian. Cant imagine what it feels like to lose all the time invested. What I can say for sure is that ive read so many posts like this one over the years and they all have 1 thing in common. Unfortunately the ban stays. Hope youre able to continue your passion for destiny even if you have to start over.

2 RepliesWhy should bungie give multiple chances? If you break the rules, then punishment should be given. In your case, your account broke the rules & the punishment is a permanent game ban.
