How does a game company keep bleeding millions of dollars on a game majority of people don't want and still keep operating? Marathon is not a success and I think that all the money they have lost plus the impairment they are costing Sony could have easily provided 75% of the funding for a D3 with people that actually care to return Destiny to past glory days. At this point, I kinda wish Sony would just break up Bungie and they have only themselves to blame for all of the bad choices made, financial irresponsibility, and forgetting all about the gaming community that helped them to get where they were. I have absolutely enjoyed Destiny and Destiny 2. I will never forget the good times I have had with this game. I'm not holding my breath that Bungie will turn D2 around any time soon and that saddens me. What do yall think?

They're done for. The numbers for both games aren't good and the Destiny community paid for a year's worth of content only for Bungie to just ditch the game for Marathon to the point that we are starting to think that an update, delayed for three months, is even coming. They have no successful games. They have no goodwill from the vast majority of their players and they have no clue. About anything. If everyone at Bungie fell out of their chairs they would miss the floor.

If you think they're bleeding millions I've a bridge to sell you. Destiny has been run on a shoestring for about 4 years, it's made a lot of money it's just not made old destiny money, the layoffs paid production costs & everything else is gravy. The last year's content was made before it released last June & there's barely anyone or anything been worked on destiny since. The impairment isn't lost money from the past, it's from future income thats now not expected, these numbers work years in advance. The 1st impairment was because Sony knew destiny would lose players because they knew the year aheads content, & that lowers the value of bungie going forward. The huge impairment this time is because I think they don't expect marathon to suddenly take off, & they know what's gonna happen to destiny next year - whatever that is, but they're not expecting big things like a huge revival.
