How to unlink a deleted account from Cross Save
My old Microsoft account was deleted so I cannot access it. How am I supposed to unlink this from Cross Save?

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. As TuxyDoh mentioned following the account [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url] introduced on March 25, 2025, only twitch accounts can be unlinked from bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are permanently associated and cannot be removed. As account linking is managed directly by players, we’re unable to unlink account or make changes on a player’s behalf. Because of this, the account in question will remain linked.

More information can be found [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]here[/url] https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360048716612-Bungie-net-Profile-Account-Creation-Linking-and-Recovery [quote]Removing or Unlinking an Authentication Method It is no longer possible to remove or unlink a platform account.[/quote] Even before this change, you had to be able to login to change the linkage.
