We’ve got the Shooting Range in the Tower, for weapons and damage testing.
Then a Resonance Engine for creating weapons, on a completely different planet.
With a pointless bargain bin dollar store shooting range in the back.
The process of crafting and (properly) testing weapons means we have to hop back and forth between planets.
Not a major issue. Just clunky.
And easily streamlined:
> No plans to use the Enclave location in further expansions?
Shut it down and move the Resonance Engine to the Tower. Just add a little text from an npc explaining the move. “Hey guardian, Ada/Ikora here. We’re moving this thing to uhh….study…it…or something.”
> Resonance Engine is in a sort of pocket-reality on Mars, so it needs to “remain there or the lore won’t line up boohoo”?
Slap a portal in the Shooting Range in the Tower, copy and paste the Enclave area. Delete the old one if necessary.
Done.

4 RepliesIt's easier than that... Banshee is our gunsmith ada1 is our armor Smith and forge master... add crafting to ada and banshee at the gun range and at the tower ex fix and lore friendly...

I think its a fine suggestion but 2 things on that > 1... Bungie is not actively taking care of the game especially not old things.. if there is no topline (rev) its not getting done.. > 2.. I don't mind travelling around the system.. that efficiency (portal) vs world (director) feel is part of the charm of this sometimes non-optimized and nonsensical game we play. I was going to say it makes a player then say hey why not bounce over to see savathun's world but they don't try to create those strong connections imo... and so I visit the enclave and then I leave. In fact did it today crafting odd PVP things to try... -
1 ReplyI think this is a really good suggestion, but it does mean that someone would have to do some work. That means that someone would have to get paid for doing that work. We all know that Bungie have turned their back on doing any paid work, unless it's connected to Marathon. Hell, they can't even persuade anyone to write a short message about what's about to happen in the near future, never mind test out some decent ideas put forward.

3 RepliesThe Enclave cannot be moved. It is far to integrated for the Witch Queen story. It would be nice if they got rid of Ascendant Alloy and we could change perks on the fly. That would help a lot.

7 RepliesWell you won’t have to worry about the enclave soon because due to all the people complaining about crafting ruining the loot chase Bungie has abandoned crafting outside of exotic mission weapons.
