I cant disable my cross save
i cant disable my cross-save because i lost the email to my Xbox account a long time ago as i was a kid when i had it. Now I've lost all my destiny 2 characters and i no longer have access to any of my DLC. please help me figure this out as it is very frustrating.

As viiTactiiCZz mentioned, following the account [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url] introduced on March 25, 2025, only twitch accounts can now be unlinked from bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, remain permanently associated with the bungie account and cannot be removed. As account linking is managed directly by players, support is unable to unlink accounts or make changes on a player’s behalf. Because of this, the account in question will remain linked. We realize this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, especially regarding access to your destiny 2 characters and DLCs. You may want to review your available options around [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide]Cross Save[/url] timing to determine the best part forward for your situation.

1 ReplyYou will need to work with Microsoft to try and regain access to the account. Why are you trying to deactivate though? You cant unlink any accounts besides Twitch as of [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]March 25th 2025[/url] and if you were to deactivate cross-save, you'd lose access to your characters/gear on your Steam and PSN account because your Xbox is the primary for cross-save.
