Linked Account Hacked
Hi, the Microsoft account that is linked to my profile just got hacked recently. Microsoft support says they cannot recover the account. I have my microsoft account linked to my profile and am wondering if/how i should remove it. I began playing destiny on the microsoft account, then moved the PC. I am not sure how the characters are saved if I can even remove the link without deleting the characters since it is the original account. Let me know any advice. Thanks!

Even if you could unlink it, because your characters/progress etc are bound to the Xbox account, you would lose access to them on your PC account. If Microsoft can't recover the account for you, then your only hope is the person doesn't use it.

That account cannot be removed. Only twitch accounts have the ability to be removed. That change happened sometime last year i believe.
