I get dunked on by every super in the game dude. Golden gun practically has aimbot in comparison to hammer of Sol. Dawnblade lasts forever and it's projectiles have insane tracking. Meanwhile my projectiles travel at half the speed of smell and get no tracking. As well as not really being a guaranteed kill on normal targets. I end up having to waste hammers on my feet just to stay alive. I get killed by primary gunfire so quickly that it's laughable. I have to time the animation of activating my super or a get massacred. Hammer of Sol is just so weak it's funny. My super is literally the worst part of my subclass in PvP.

1 ReplyHammer of Sol is still bad huh. Thought they would’ve fixed it after all these years.

2 RepliesNot even a PVPer. Hammer of Sol sucks in PVE too. Needs a buff. Period.

1 ReplyThis is gonna be a long one so strap in or skip this. The issue is the hammer itself does like directly like 220 hp or something like that so ANYTHING that boosts hp or dr removes the one shot. It also has really low dr (Only an extra like 2 hand cannon shots needed to kill) while having a slow throw speed and travel speed Also the issues extend into pve. The only thing stopping it from being the lowest damage super is roaring flames. At a base each hammer deals only a bit more than a hand cannon, because of this in even mid level content there's a chance you'll fail to kill a red bar. Not even mentioning higher tiers like majors who can take the entire super in endgame and live. Plus you can only throw about 6 hammers. And due to the throw rate you can generally shot about 2 hand cannon shots for each hammer toss which tends to = out to the hand cannons favor in damage. Now you CAN buff it but doing so costs aspect slots. You can buff the duration and give like a 2% damage increase per hammer throw with sol invictus (From 6 to 12) and damage with roaring (From a hand cannon to just below a rapid sniper frame) But that's *2* aspects just to make it go from one of if not the worst super to an okay super at best. Really the only reason the 2 aspect slots needed might not matter to many is consecration sucks even worse. For damage Consecration did 1.2K like on the dot while Hammer strike did 1032, and with roaring it was about 1.8K versus 2.7K. Slightly more than hammer unbuffed but completely loses with ANY buffs involved. My idea for a buff is: Hammer of sol pvp damage increased by 10% just so you can't survive without a super or somewhat decent defense buffs Pve: Increase base damage of BOTH supers on solar by by 150%. Might sound like a lot but let's be honest. If it barely does more than a primary 150% probably won't even make it do a lot (In fact I'm pretty sure in endgame you'd still need 5 hammers to kill *1* major unit that's the entire super without buffs basically and it's similar on burning needing about 90% of the super per 1 major) I'd say give a small nerf to roaring with super interaction but not by much. I think rn it's like 30-50% for the supers? I'd say like 10% reduction. I'd also give both more scorch. Rn the hammer inflicts 0 scorch and relies on sol invictus which I found you can get 1 ignition maybe 2 with the scorch fragment. Burning maul inflicts a bit more 2 without 3 with. But I'd make base hammer have 30 scorch on its own and boost Burning Mauls heavy attack to inflict 50 on initial hit. There are other things I'd change for solar. Roaring is fine tbh the changes I mentioned were just to get the supers good without it. But sol invictus is pretty mediocre. You spawn a sunspot that deals in its entire lifespan about as much as like 2-3 auto rifle bullets almost never can it even KILL a red bar. It only does thanks to the scorch but most of the time the enemies flinch out of it. So I'd revert the duration nerf since they nerfed its damage and duration. The duration used to be about 6 seconds when not in it and about 15 when in it down to about 3 when out and 6 when in. Though they also nerfed how many you could have. Without your super you cap at 3 down from 5 so I'd also revert that because in pvp you don't notice it and with the damage nerf most red bar enemies can easily live it especially in endgame who don't even lose half health so this just allows it to support the user more. And lastly I'd buff consecration. I know many see it as the devil incarnate because of prismatic but the solar version genuinely sucked. It was arguably better to pick throwing hammer or even hammer strike in most cases. The damage between them was just so close it didn't matter. But prismatic gave 3 of them and you could easily get them back before you used all 3. So I'd make it so consecration ALWAYS consumes all melee stacks no matter what but only has a minimum of 1 required. Aside from that completely revert the damage nerf and removal of being able to buff the ignition (Which was a nerf to all classes). I'd also give the solar version an extra like 30% buff just so it actually does enough to justify using it on solar. Tbh prismatic Titan needs a full rework almost every build on it is awful compared to normal subclasses and the ones that are good always ended up being too good and needed nerfs. But that's a different story for another time.

3 RepliesI still find it weird that Titans are the only class without a subclass with three super options.

I dont play pvp, but sunbreaker titans SUCK in pve as well in basically any activity that isnt quickplay strikes.

In general Titans don't have very many viable options when it comes to supers for PvP. We are currently in a meta that encourages ranged or instant cast supers that kill targets. "Almost" every super on titan requires a significant amount of travel time or high risk engagement. There is a reason you really only see Thunder Crash and Twilight Arsenal with the occasional Hammer of Sol.

3 RepliesI definitely agree here. If it's intended to be an At Range super why do the hammers have the explosive power of a water balloon? Supers like this that rely on abilities that you have access to outside of the super should have an increase in lethality for said-abilities. Sunspots should be an absolute death trap.
