Something that this game has always lacked is a real endgame reward system.
What is the difference between a world drop weapon and a Raid weapon ? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
This game does not handle loot like other MMO Rpg's out there. Raid weapons won't be stronger just because they were harder to get.
Adept was an idea and now with that gone and everything dropping with enhanced perks and multiple perks per column.
The way to make these weapons better and more unique has already been done before, but for other weapons.
Take season of Echo for example, rapid kills with those weapons, causes the enemies to explode and drop a puddle of Radiolarian, that will continuously deal damage to anyone standing in it.
Or how about spawning bombs after each kill ? Warmind cells with Ikelos and Seraph weapons.
Just imagine if this is what separated Raid and normal weapons apart.
This would make them more unique, more fun and more desirable.
Heck you could even make the guns weaker as compensation for these powerful abilities.
Let those who prefers to play solo miss out on these weapons. Those who do not play the harder content, do not need the stronger weapons.
