Windows Specific Path issue
Hey guys!
I recently bought a Z2 Extreme Asus Xbox Ally in hopes of finally finishing the Beyond Light DLC. The first time it launched flawlessly with no issues. However after first launch I am no longer able to start the game. I only get a black screen then a crash. Only after getting D2 to run as admin I am greeted to a screen which says Windows does not have access to the path of D2! Here are all the steps I have tried!
-Reinstall Windows
-Reinstall Battle eye
-Verify game files
-Run in dx11 and dx12
-Turned off Windows Defender and core protection
-Manually allowed Battle eye to run as admin
Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

4 RepliesHello there, Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand you're encountering a path issue with Destiny 2. We can imagine how this may have caused concern. This type of issue can sometimes be caused by the Destiny 2 folder "url" being too long. If you adjust the name of that folder to an abbreviation of what it currently is, does that resolve this issue for you? If the issue persists, let us know, and we'll review.
