When looking at the New Land Beyond item in the exotic kiosk, I was prompted to upgrade my version of The Year of Prophecy. I was curious about the price and I clicked the "get it now" option, assuming it would take me to the Xbox store (all other purchases in this game work in this way).
It instead immediately purchased the upgrade, without confirmation or even showing me the price. There is no refund option on my Microsoft order history, and I'm assuming this is due to Bungie's refund policy.
I understand this content in usually non-refundable, but I did not consent to this purchase. There is no customer service line for Bungie so I'm posting here.
Thank you for your time.
SOLVED: Microsoft's system is just super finicky. I could not find the refund request on my order history (even though it says you can?). Its on a different page. Apologies for the confusion

1 ReplyHi there, Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear you accidentally purchased the Year of Prophecy expansion while browsing. You will need to contact Xbox/Microsoft support directly for a refund, since DLC purchases are processed through the platform.

This exact same thing happened to me months ago. I just wanted to see the price. Of course, people on these forums said I made it up. But you can go through the xbox store and request a refund. I think I actually did it through the store on my PC, but I'm assuming there is a refund option on xbox too.

The purchase went through xbox. You will need to speak to them regarding a refund. You didn't pay Bungie you paid Xbox.
