Weapon scopes was just awesome. It could completely change the way you felt about a gun. Some scopes are just to bulky, unclear, to small or just a plain boring Iron sight. Having the ability to choose between different scopes really helped fixing those issues. It could just make the gun look better as well. There was a scope for everyone. Iron sight, Acog, holographic, rifle scope. They can make the difference between liking the gun and hating it. It really sucks that Bungie was just to lazy to optimize their stats and just removed them. I wouldn't mind if they came back as a visual only. No extra stats provided. I just don't like the scopes on some of these weapons. Like the Third axiom is a great pulse rifle, but its scope is so condensed and it blocks out the screen. Another bad one is the Satou focu lens for the Blast furnace. Really tiny and squished lens. Awful.
