Question about wingman converter on PS5
Hello!
Not sure where to ask - it is surprisingly difficult to find a support channel where one can get answers pertaining to Marathon. Tried Discord, but Bungie channels seem to be one-way only.
The question is - are the Brook Wingman converters OK for Marathon on PS5, or are those against the TOS?
I have multiple PS4 era pro controllers and a good controller for my switch, but I'm a bit dismayed by high price and low value of licensed PS5 controllers and would rather avoid paying for those. I've recently learned about Brook Wingman FGC VX which is reasonably priced and would allow me to use my other controllers with PS5, but I remember from my Destiny 2 days some of such converters were frowned upon. Hence the question.

1 ReplyNo idea, but the rule seem pretty clear to me. If all your controller do is… controlling, like a regular one, then it’s fine. Anything more than that and it’s getting into the gray area.

1 ReplyI'd say no. They don't sell a locked version yet, but they should. "locked" meaning a version that only operates in the restricted mode. That I think is credible, because EVO allows players to use the adapter in "locked" mode. It's similar to other problematic devices because of its features and capabilities whilst unlocked. And I think you know this. Automation IS NOT allowed. That's why you didn't post this in #Help.
