Disabling Cross Save
Years ago I linked my friend's steam account to my destiny account so I could play at his house. Now I have my own PC and I want to connect my own steam account to it. I've read that links are permanent and I was wondering if i deactivate cross-save and wait the 90 days, would I be able to add mine instead?

2 RepliesEdited by BNGHelp5: 5/2/2026 8:22:16 PMHey there, disabling cross-save used to be a mandatory step if you wanted to unlink an account, but as of March 2025 it is no longer possible to unlink accounts at all. So disabling cross-save will not allow you to unlink, even after the cooldown (which is just the reactivation cooldown), so you can't add your own Steam.
