Deactivate Cross-save to assign new account.
Hey, this is just as it states.
I had an Xbox and Playstation account but they are gone... no way to get into them, they were made in a different state and any means of signing through banking info is impossible as I am not and have not been a member of it since 20 years ago and they were still using XP slander likely 95 for their software if any.
I have access to the steam account but not the Playstation or Xbox, made a new Xbox account just so I can get back into this because even my PC is dead and donezo's.
A series X will be my only safe (affordable bet) to play again and I'd really like to get back to this.
Although, there is no "contact support" for such a task, so uhh...
Do I ask here? Its been a minute so I dont even know, I do know that I want to get back to being a guardian space cowboy again with my ever favorite Laconic (The Last Word) and Deadman's Tale because Cowboy.
Tried deactivating the cross save but it requires i sign into them, which not gonna happen as I tried getting into them Already. So that's a no go, any ideas cus not sure what to do.

1 ReplySo your main account is PlayStation. You have linked a Playstation, Xbox, and Steam. You can only authenticate 1 out of 3. You cant login to where your characters are. What exactly do you want to acomplish? Deactivate cross save, even if Bungie bypassed all security measures would render your characters unplayable as you cant login to Playstation.

First, you characters are bound to your PSN account so without cross save or access to that PSN, you would have to start over. Second, in order to make deactivate cross save, you have to be able to authenticate each linked account. Bungie will not forcibly deactivate them. Third, as of March 2025 accounts cannot be unlinked anymore. So even if you could disable cross save, you would not be able to change any linkages. So you would be starting from scratch unless you play on steam
