Since the last Iron Banner, or maybe before it, but I was not playing, the game feels way more laggy and delayed.
Even in the tower, when there's nobody there takes a good 2-3 seconds for any NPC I'm interacting with to pull up their inventories, shop, etc...
And during play time, I'm having "loading" warnings in sections where I never had to wait for the game to load.
In fact, for almost 4000 hours I've played the game, the only place where I experienced this was in a section in the Insight Terminus strike, in a passage right before the main room, where we fight the Cabal to open the last door to the final boss, with those 2 energy charges. And usually there was a loading time of a second or two. Now it can be up to 10 or more seconds, and I'm having these loading times in every map.
I'm noticing this is happening in every game that happens to have some Asian players.
Not sure if the crossplay is a factor here, too.
I'm only having these problems while playing Destiny.
I'm playing on PC, Epic client.

Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to share these details, we understand how frustrating increased lag and loading delays can be, especially after so many hours of smooth gameplay. The behavior you're describing (delayed NPC interaction, "loading" warnings in new areas and longer than usual transitions) may be related to network conditions, platform performance or recent changes affecting connectivity. While crossplay can sometimes introduce variability depending on connection quality between players, It shouldn't consistently cause the kind of delays you are describing. To help narrow this down, we recommend trying the following steps : •Ensure your network connection is stable (Wired connection is preferred if possible). •In the Epic Games Launcher Verify the game, and let it complete the file check. •Make sure Destiny 2 is installed on a fast internal SSD with several GB of free space. Additionally we would recommend going through our guide for Improving Latency and Packet Loss. If the lag and loading warnings persist after those steps, grab a short video plus your region, your ISP and the approximate time of occurrence, You can upload the footage to a service like Youtube and provide the link here. This information will help us take a closer look at what may be causing the issue.
