issues with linking characters on crossplay
i was trying to import my xbox toons so i can play on steam now that a i have a gaming pc again and i have much more progress and better gear on my xbox characters and i haven't played on pc in years but even after linking and setting up crossplay only the pc character is showing up and i cant find a option to set the xbox account as my main

1 ReplyHead to https://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave/Recap, scroll down to 'Destiny 2 characters' and see if it says 'From your Playstation account' below the character. If it does then when you setup cross-save, you selected your Playstation account to be the primary for cross-save, this means your Xbox characters are dormant and currently inaccessible. To resolve it, you will unfortunately have to deactivate cross-save -> wait the 90 days -> reactivate cross-save and ensure you pick Xbox at the active characters step. If you have a pending silver cooldown (also 90 days) then you will have to wait that out before you will be able to deactivate cross-save. Bungie will not reduce the cooldowns or alter your cross-save setup.

2 RepliesHey there, it looks like you chose PSN as the Active character set, During the cross-save setup process you were asked to pick one account, and this account's characters, progress, inventory, etc, would be the one shared across all linked accounts. That's where you should have picked XBox if you wanted to use that character set, but it looks like you picked the PSN account here so the one PSN character is the one you see. There is no option to switch after the fact, you'd need to cancel cross-save, wait for the 90-day cooldown to elapse, and then set it up again, this time picking XBox to be the active set.
