unlinking steam account
i got my pc 2 years ago as playstation player thats where i started destiny,and linked my steam account through bungie n everything was fine i skipped that steam account since my friend offered me another one filled with games i still have the full access to that steam acc linked till 2025 december i decided to link my bungie through that acc it asked me to turn off cross save for 90 days i did it and now its been more than 90 day i logged in last night to check if I can link a new account and it still shows me my steam account like it never unlinked while im pretty sure i did and never saw that menu in december its a new one im pretty sure, and I tried reaching bungie supp but i didnt find a way so is there a way to reach them or im just stuck with that acc?

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. viiTactiiCZz is correct: since the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025]unlinking update[/url] from March 25th, 2025, only Twitch accounts are now eligible to be unlinked from Bungie profiles. All other platform accounts, once linked, are linked permanently. Further, as Bungie entrusts players with the security and management regarding linking their accounts, we do not unlink any accounts on players' behalf. Thus, the Steam account in question will remain linked.

No way for it to be done; Bungie disabled the ability to unlink platform accounts (except Twitch) back on March 25th 2025. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/35597981889300-Notice-Bungie-net-Account-Unlinking-Update-on-March-25-2025 Deactivating cross-save has never unlinked accounts, you always had to go through the Account Linking menu to unlink it but due to the above change you can't do that now. Bungie will not unlink it for you.
