Can you allow us to focus more legacy weapons at the different vendors, as well as change Xur's loot pool?
I think a small but welcome QOL change would be to allow us to buy year 1-3 weapons from Zavala, Shaxx, Drifter, Banshee, Saint, and Saladin. Some of us miss the weapons we dismantled due to sunsetting, and this could relieve that in a way. It could also enable new players to fill their collections. Zavala, Shaxx and Drifter already have some of the y2 weapons (the ones that avoided sunsetting), so why not have the rest? It would also be great if Banshee had old world drops like Ether Doctor and Uriel's Gift. Also Saladin is missing some year 4 weapons as well such as the Steady Hand. Oh and in the case of Xur: Trials, Comp, Nightfall, and Onslaught weapons should be moved back to their respective vendors (and those Season 22 vanguard reissues). Xur should also have Forge, Undying, and Dawning weapons added. Here is an outline even though I have no say in anything here as I am just a consumer:
Zavala: Current Loot Pool + All vanguard y1-3 weapons + All Nightfall weapons + All Onslaught weapons + Any misc reissue like the season 22 ones or spoiler alert/eternal blazon
Shaxx: Current Loot Pool + Comp weapons + All y1-3 crucible weapons + misc reissues like nature of the beast
Drifter: Current Loot Pool + All y2 gambit weapons (both normal and gambit prime) + Season of the Deep Reissues
Saladin: Current Loot Pool + All y1-4 weapons that are not there
Saint: All trials weapons from xur + trials of the nine loot? + the scholar/exile's curse
Banshee: All y1-3 world drops + current loot pool + all y1-3 gunsmith weapons
Xur: Current Loot Pool - Anything listed above removed + Season of Forge/Undying/Dawning Weapons + Season 15 Prophecy weapons
And that is my long convoluted feedback that is just moving loot around. Hopefully someone at Bungie sees this or something and I don't make a complete fool of myself.

2 RepliesIn collections, they should just let us reacquire anything we've already unlocked and purchase anything we've not unlocked (that's not current) with shards or ciphers, and drop them all with random rolls. 🤷

Xur should have old Red Borders. They're so powercrept at this stage, I don't see the issue. Let us buy them with Strange Coins. Additionally, Xur should have a Deepsight Harmonizer every week and Exotic Class Items every week. Again, with Raid weapons getting revamped soon, I see no issue with this ideology. Really overall it's a shame we've lost crafting. Vault space is at a premium with Armor Sets and the various weapons we must hoard. Multiple iterations of the same weapon consuming 2-4 slots in many scenarios. If you toy around with other classes, the armor issue only becomes more problematic.

Yes please! I have been thinking the same thing for ages. A lot of those old weapons were really good, especially in PvP. In Pve everyone will use the new stuff but old weapons like the original blast furnace, travelers judgement, Duke, etc were really fun to use in PvP. Right now 60-70% of what you get from Xur is craftable weapons which most people already have. Add the old ones so people can actually use their strange coins for good stuff. Also let's add the brave arsenal to the strange engram loot pool please, because why not? If people are worried that if the old weapons get reissued people won't grind for them, it's not a problem. If they get reissued, obviously they will be reworked into the tier system so people will most definitely grind for them. It would just be nice for some of us older players to mess around with these iconic weapons.
