Seriously you drop it down and it barely heals you. I'm not saying they should be Well of Radiance levels of healing but this hasn't changed since D2 year 1. The Class stat isn't much help because you need it to be ridiculously high to get anything good out of it. Even then it heals so friggin slow!
If it could give you a few seconds of really good healing, and then the rest is regular, that would be fine too.
The gains from Empowering should be higher as well. This isn't Year 1! Bump it up!

6 RepliesEdited by EMUracing: 4/10/2026 4:57:25 PMIMHO, if this is what you are looking for out of the rift, you are using the rift wrong. Ideal, place it from behind cover before engaging. Engage, and pull back to cover between shots to actively heal. You will be able to beat a faster TTK weapon from its healing between your shots. You cannot out-heal taking damage actively, but you can recover much faster to stay in fights that others cant. If you are using rift thinking that it will save you mid fight when you are down, it wont unless you are running stasis and they are close enough to get frozen. From the start of D2, rift was the strongest class ability. It is still quite good when used correctly, but it will not reward being cast in the open/in direct line of sight of an enemy.
