Cross Save unlinking a deleted Steam account
I made a steam account back in 2020 before i had a PC and linked it to my Bungie account, to which i played Destiny 2 on my xbox and in 2024 i finally got a PC and made a new steam account, deleting the previous account, forgetting i still had it linked to my Bungie account and now i can no longer unlink it due to me not having access to it anymore. Is it possible to receive help unlinking it? I have proof that it was my account from my xbox account if you guys need any proof

Hey there, as of March 2025, it is no longer possible to unlink a platform account from a Bungie Account. That means that even if the account had not been deleted, and even if you could authenticate it, you still could not unlink it. So unfortunately the linkage is permanent. Bungie will never unlink accounts on their end, under any circumstances.
