People going "pew pew pew" with guns doing nearly ZERO damage. Dying constantly.
No sense of urgency at all. On "Rush" down...
Sorry for the rant! Just frustrating!!!!
Edit: for those of you saying "many people haven't done this before"...AND? Do some research then? You can YouTube everything else, but this?

Been doing them solo for no other reason than I don't want to matchmake.... I have a bunch of made up reasons in my head why it's better this way, but it's probably not.
-
2 RepliesIt's a game. Not everybody runs to YouTube for tutorials on how to do things. Again.... It's. A. Game.

1 ReplyWhat difficulty are you playing on? I've consistently matched with players in Ultimate who, at worst, can hold their own. I think the lower difficulties tend to have newer players and it's apparently all too much, which is understandable.
-
Most of the decent players have left it seems. Sad to say
-
1 ReplyActually never had problems with pve on this event. Ive had both good and bad players in team and we managed to complete it every time. Im playing on maximum difficulty and im just a decent player myself.

1 ReplyEdited by its_me_uce: 4/4/2026 8:47:16 PMI’ve had a few good teams. I think that some of the encounters people just forgot what to do. I know I forgot a few of them. As far as the YouTube thing, who wants to waste time looking on how to DPS 15 different bosses especially when the rotation changes everyday. That’s just my take on it. I’ve already finished the award track and gotten the rolls I want. It’s kind of useless for me to play GG anymore

Edited by Tis-but-a-scratch: 4/4/2026 10:06:22 PMI don’t understand something … obviously. There’s one guy doing tons of damage, killing things like it’s a patrol. Meanwhile it takes me a whole clip to down one baddie and I’m shooting the boss with a feather gun. I guess the problem is the builds. And the willingness of the players to invest in that.
-
4 RepliesI find that, more often than not, that I'm the only one doing damage to the boss while everyone else is just killing adds hoping someone else does the boss/mechanics. Just like in matchmade arenas.

That’s me! I do my best to do the work. Still..always at the bottom. Have the best weapons as i can get. But just low skilled..Died from jump alot too. I saw many players had 0 dies…while I have 17. Those warlocks really heros. But last night I have void titan did amazing work! No idea how..but it just like warlock..no die did boss damage 3x of mine. Heartbreaking to see my performance always at the bottom. Love the game..but more and more feels the game is not for me. Wish the game have solo options that I can play.

5 RepliesPeople struggle with rush down seems pretty easy to me considering FA and a bait and switch secondary easily hard carries not counting abilities if you cant melee with the saber.

2 RepliesAnyone who says "Watch a video".. is a part fo the problem in my eyes. The issue has been looking down at yall the entire time. Before all the changes, there was a limit that people would hit. The guy running around at 550 right now in Ultimate WOULD NEVER BE THERE if Bungie didn't cave in and hand everyone 550 gear. They'd be gradually learning the game, getting better or reaching their skill ceiling. They wouldn't be max light ( that when introduced was said that ONLY THE MOST DEVOTED WOULD EVER REACH) - something even I said.. I would never do!! But JohnBoy and Billy demanded it. Bungie literally shrugged their shoulders and said "wuteva, the community more lost than us"... have fun

5 RepliesDo some research? It’s a 7 years old game on its last leg, the last thing it needs is people having to search the internet to have fun. Some bosses have too much health and it’s just a pain even with good gear: I jumped in with 200 weapons stats, Thunderlord and the exotic chest piece for auto reload and I barely see the health bar move.
-
Only once had this problem and even I gave up, because it was a hopeless waste of time.
-
4 RepliesTo be fair a lot of people have never encountered some of these bosses or did the campaigns they wouldn't even have a clue on how to fight them in the first place much less how the mechanics work... Assuming everyone knows exactly what to do at all times sounds like a deficiency on your part...

Edited by PandaPapa146: 4/2/2026 2:13:50 AMI don’t like Rushdown…too intense for this old tortoise. I did the first one, and didn’t want to do it again. Yesterday, I did another run, simply because it was part of the weekly PvE bounty. My W is a basic grenade build, which I kinda leaned into a bit, because it’s a bit of a hoot…and as I mostly do qp PvE fireteam ops runs for bd farming, it works for me. Prior to that, it was a sol getaway gloves build, which I like, too. On yesterday’s run, my 2x excellent mm team8s were praxis blade optimised ninjas…we got it done. ☑️😁☑️ My thoughts were - I hope we don’t encounter a boss that I know nothing about, eg, D2 raid / dungeon bosses…🤔 Thankfully, we didn’t. And whatever boss might have turned up, I was pretty sure instinct would kick in…once* I saw what the ninjas were doing. For NLs and Returnees, this event would be a real stretch…unless they researched the legs off every possible boss fight since way back. I meet these players when doing my qp PvE fireteam ops bd bounties…and it’s great when I get to be ‘big brother’ and help get us over the line. Helping out is the icing on the cake! There are many epic ninjas that have helped me out over the years, and when I can help others - I do! Play nice! Play Fair! Don’t Quit! 👈 That is all. Ease Springs! 🖖👻 MTFBWY *autobot correction

4 RepliesI really wish i could see your game history of these matches

depends on the bosses some are a pain i use praxic blade & can attack nonstop with no immune if a warlock drops a healing rift heavy i use refurbished sniper for certain bosses
