why was I reinstalled to the cross play and why was my name redacted

I have not recently changed my name nor has I logged in for the first time. I do not want to have the ability to play the game any other way than through console. When I had the ability to do so before, my account was hacked and I lost all my progress. I want one way in and that's it. Now my name is redacted which makes zero sense considering I have had the same name since day one of d1. Justin_Giver. Hoestly.. Im about done with the game at this point. THis is just another signal I should just leave.
I do not want to have the ability to play the game any other way than through console.
You're mixing up cross-play and cross-save, cross-play is how players on various platforms are able to play with other platforms, ie Xbox playing with PS players. You do not have cross-save active. The message you get when Bungie redact your name is the generic cross-play message that informs people that its been added to the game and their name was updated as there isn't an in-game message specifically for telling people that their name has been moderated by Bungie. You can submit an appeal at the bottom of this page and selecting 'Bungie name was changed' under the 'What type of content restriction are you appealing' field.
. Justin_Giver.
Assuming that's your real name? if it is then it violates the Bungie name policy and isn't allowed.
