I bought marathon on my steam account and have been grinding it alot. My steam account is linked to this bungie profile, that also has a 10+ year old playstation account linked to it that I lost forever ago due to it getting hacked along with the email. I havent even played on playstation since then, but recently got a ps5 and I decided to buy the game again for PS5. Come to find out, for some reason bungie made the decision to NEVER allow ANY unlinking? Can I get a mod to help me please, I just want to unlink my steam account (That i have access to currently) so that I can create a new bungie profile with my new ps5 account, and link my steam to that new bungie profile so that I can just play marathon on both pc and ps5. This really shouldnt even be a problem, I dont understand why bungie has made it literally impossible to simply unlink an account you have access to, and relink to a different profile for any reason. PLEASE mods do not come and comment the same forum article I keep seeing from 2025 that goes over how unlinking is basically not allowed anymore, that doesn't help at all.
