1. Give The Community the Tools to Make Their Own Content to Share with the Player Base. Like The Forge but for Destiny, But Also like GTA Online Community Series.
Like For Example: If you Wanted to Fight Tormentors in The Sepik's Boss Fight Let me do That.
I'm Not Saying Let Me Replace All Enemies in a Strike with Tormentors as I'm Sure There's Limits to What the Engine can do, but like let us see a schematic of a strike and tweak it.
If there are 12 Dregs, 5 Vandals, and 4 Shanks that spawn during this part of the strike, can I add to this mob, or would I need to remove the 12 Dregs to include something bigger, like maybe 4 Tormentors?
Give the community the tools to create our own party games, like Sparrow Racing or sword flying through rings in an obstacle course. Let us know the limitations of what’s possible in an activity and what it would take to make it happen. With this, the game could offer so much more to do at any given time. Also, add leaderboards for community-made content, along with a playlist dedicated to competing in those leaderboards.
The armor sets have gotten a bit out of hand, so here’s my idea to fix the vault space issue, let’s master the set, then simply equip the set bonus we want to armor we already have. Think of it like a quest—you’ll complete tasks using the set you want to master, and once it’s done, it’s unlocked for use on your armor. Simple as that.
1. Acquire the complete set (5 pieces),
2. Depending on where you get the set, the task to master it would vary. It could be as simple as getting a certain number of kills with a 4-piece while doing Fireteam Ops (Ferropotent), or for PvP, winning matches or getting kills with weapons relevant to the set (if possible). Trials works pretty much the same way but could add ornaments or cosmetics for Lighthouse runs.
3. Mastering sets would allow you to equip them to armor with empty slots. The question is, where would these armor pieces come from? Could Bungie just convert our existing armor into shells to use and equip sets? I think so, since they’ve already done something similar with the Masquerader’s Helmets, which we could simply equip a type of set we wanted.
While I think this would be the best path for most players, I wouldn’t be against earning this new type of armor through endgame content, but it would need to be a precision-targeted farming method—choosing your archetype, slot, tertiary, and tuning. one and done because we've already farmed armor so many times.
Or maybe after acquiring the armor, you could alter it to your desired stats by doing quests? Just an idea, could be a long process but in the end, you get your perfect piece. I think Exotics should work similarly, maybe even upgrading them to have a 2-piece set bonus of your choosing? Lots of possibilities there.
Also, please add more loadouts for builds! If these armor changes happened (fingers crossed), vaults would be so much better organized. Mine would probably free up half the space.
3. Increase caps across the board for materials, currency, and consumables.
4. Improve sorting for transmog, shaders, and emotes.
5. when ADS, add enemy highlighting to all masterworked guns. there's a lot going on nowadays on the battlefield lol sometimes it gets hard to see.
6. Give the Shared Wisdom XP bonus in any team activity without needing to form a team first, since matchmaking already puts you in teams. (like, please)
7. Remove Accelerated Assault from the game permanently and never add anything like it again. please, ty.
8. Add a detailed kill tracker to weapons so players could flex. like if I wanted to kill all raid bosses with my favorite gun, let me flex that on the gun. This could include weapon titles or a viewable list confirming kills on various bosses/enemies. It could even be a fun mini-game, such as engraving a boss’s name on your gun, earning an ornament or shader for completing all dungeon bosses, or an emblem for all raid bosses. only for Legendary and Exotic weapons.
9. add encounter load-ins for dungeons and raids
10. I liked going to the HELM and making builds, so like I kind of just want my space to hang out in game, maybe make the shooting range our space? add a loadout optimizer in game to it.
11. reduce the 50k cap on replacing common orders to 10k, and lower or have a fixed amount for Legendary and Exotic orders.
I really like my armor idea and hope it gets seen :) close 2nd is the detailed kill tracker.

They won't supply us with anything, marathon is already failing. People are complaining about it and bungie wont make money. It's ggs

Unless bungee changes for the greater good, nothing will change. If they keep going on like this, Sony might just take over completely or just shut Bungie down. I wouldn’t be surprised if a third round of layoffs were approaching.

Give the Destiny franchise to a competent developer.

Hello fellow Guardian, I like some of the suggestions you gave, specifically the Forge and the "player space" ideas. It would be fun to play community made content and it would also keep things fresh. This would take some of the pressure off of Bungie, as well. Also, I really liked the Tribute Hall from way back in the Season of Opulence. This made it so that players felt like they had a space to show off the feats they accomplished and could revel in their victories. I believe you could even use some of the enemy holograms as target practice much like the Firing Range. It would be awesome if they could do something like this again, even if it was just an addition to the Firing Range. I just recently made a post about how they can improve the New Light experience. I truly think this game not only needs to find a way to retain veteran players, but also gain new players. The Forge could help keep veterans while the New Light Revamp could bring in new guardians.
