Hello, i am having issues trying to run Destiny 2. When i try to launch the game on Steam i got a error and popup: Error log: 22:40:34: Starting BattlEye Service... 22:40:34: Updating... 22:40:34: Update failed (1, 35). Please check your internet connection and/or firewall. 22:40:36: Launching game... Error Popup after log: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." Tried several "fixes", workarounds, installing and reinstalling game and battle eye. Changed several files permissions, disabled firewall, antivirus, several integrity checks on game files and more tweaks. Formatted my windows yesterday 03/02/2026, game worked. Today after a game session, map and destination was giving me black screen, so i restarted the game and got same error, same log and popup. I saw some people reporting issues like mine after Marathon's server slam launch, is it possible these errors and server slam are connected? Edit: 1 week later i am back! Game/Battleye are running properly, no more errors. What worked for me: uninstalling game and completely clean it from pc (temporary files, steam folder, %appdata%, registry and many more locations) and reinstalling. Thanks your time!!!
