I purchased a legitimate Steam key for Marathon from Fanatical (authorized retailer) to use as a giveaway in my Discord server. After announcing the winner, an impersonator created a nearly identical Discord account (same name and profile image, with only a minor character difference) and contacted me before the actual winner did. I mistakenly sent the Steam key to the impersonator. The incident was identified and reported within approximately two hours. Fanatical has issued a refund as a goodwill gesture but informed me that only the publisher can revoke a redeemed key. I am requesting clarification on the following: 1-Is it possible for Bungie to review and revoke a Steam key obtained through documented impersonation fraud? 2-If so, what is the correct channel to submit evidence (proof of purchase, screenshots, Discord user ID, timestamps)? 3-If not, is there an official fraud reporting process for cases like this?
