SMS Code Accepted but Error 1618 Prevents Phone Verification
I am trying to link my phone to my Destiny 2 account on Steam, and while I receive the SMS verification code, after entering it I consistently get Error 1618 and the phone does not attach to my account. I have cleared cookies, used Incognito mode, tried a different device and mobile data, and confirmed that only Steam is linked with no Cross-Save active. This appears to be a backend issue with my account preventing phone verification. Please advise on how to manually clear the verification flag so I can complete this process and access raids.
