Serious question btw, is that something Sony could do? Bungie looks to be treating Destiny the same way they treated Halo, they're bored with it and want to work on something new.

probably lowest risk for Sony is to create a division within Bungie (their subsidiary) where they can assure the Bungie fanboys its still Bungie and hire excited new devs to work on it with some seasoned vets from a bunch of their studios that may not be exact fits there... (Bungie would not be able to interact with this division but they'll all be funded through the Bungie account) ...I could see a trend where Sony swaps properties amongst their studios calling it the next big creative industry thing.. ...But ultimately I think gaming is gonna need a reboot to independent smaller developers... bypass these publishers somehow.. to re-ignite the industry... these behemoths are not the way for this creative entertainment space.... as you need passion and not 9-5rs... thats art
