Otherwise, we'll at least be able to craft and grind comparable weapons when they reprise RAD content in June. The only real advantages comp weapons would have would be frames like how Rose is a lightweight or some other minor stat boost. Can't use d2foundry to verify, but using Fatebringer as the example in comparison to my best Rose: Rose with Hammer forged rifling, accurized rounds, elemental capacitor (void), explosive payload, heavy grip, range masterwork, and ballistics gives it 79 range and 88 stability. I barely have to do anything about the recoil of at all on controller. Meanwhile with Fatebringer which DMG I'm pretty sure stated we'll be able to craft a T5 version of; I think the stats were all-round higher if I used Smallbore, steady rounds, Keep Away, Magnificent Howl, ballistics, and enhanced range intrinsic. More stability, more range and reload due to Keep Away, the only things Rose would really have over Fatebringer are the frame, better sights, +1 aim assist, and a thinner model. We'll basically be able to craft weapons equal if not greater than several comp weapons. Hell, Eyasluna can also get an insane roll which if they update that too should hopefully become easier to grind. Add any sights you want (sights also add +5 AA, so it'd be equal to Rose), ricochet rounds, Perpetual Motion, a range masterwork, and a ballistic mod (not currently equippable but will definitely be) and it's very easy to get both range AND stability between 80-100. Now add in the stat boosts from the enhanced barrel, magazine, and the +5 to all stats from being masterworked and you basically have the perfect hand cannon stat-wise. I can't say it's what players would prefer instead, but I know I'll be grinding any red borders I'm missing and potential stat monsters I would want. At that point though, I'd be more concerned about all the exotics that keep getting left behind stat-wise than whether I'll see any of the Redrix weapons, Riposte, or Rose return. I mean, gimmicks be damned, it's already kind of hard to justify the stupidly low stats several exotics have (especially compared to their archetypes at any given time like Sunshot having 60 AA instead of the 80-90 ALL 150s had) when we're currently or will be able to reliably target farm or craft complete monsters like these. At that point, Ace for example with an extra 20 handling/ reload and +40 stability is looking pretty reasonable, the nigh-infinite Kill Clip that was indirectly nerfed in EOF being the closest to justification otherwise and would still basically be invalid by then.

There are so many weapons I wish I could just farm for, but most of them are only available from xur or its from raids which are too complicated for some people and it takes a bunch of time
