To be honest with you, this may already come true. If you remember when the Alpha or whatever was introduced the only streamers, streamers were saying it was awful, and within hours Bungie did what only Bungie would ever do... They said Marathon "isn't a game for Destiny players" to try and protect Marathon from the criticism, so they could change the narrative from "Marathon sucks" to "Marathon may be okay but the streamers with access aren't the intended crowd. Never underestimate how Bungie's short sightness works... their impulsiveness usually makes them eat their words. Because now they can't bank on much Destiny players because not only are we tired of the game we actually like being abused..... "why buy Marathon if Bungie said we won't like it". And good luck on Marathon stealing the extraction shooters fans from Escape from Tarkov, Arc Raiders, and etc. Even if Bungie wasn't already famous for how they treat their players, Marathon isn't a superior game to the market it's about to enter. 👍
