Here's my idea inspired by Myelin and others that have echoed similar sentiment,
[I would have killed that Rook right there].... - Myelin
But he wasn't talking about "on purpose".
Because, in the chaos of battle... easily mistaken for a trash ad.
Now, I 100% think the skins I'm recommending... MUST be earned via playing in a manner the skins would support - COOPERATION.
1. "Crossing Guard" - So Yellow and/or Orange you'd essentially look like a traffic cone. The obvious downside is visibility to those that are enemies. The upside is visibility to those that are allies.
2. "Virgil" - the Neon Marathon Green... that had dynamic luminescence, the longer you're near an allied runner without them shooting you, or you shooting them... it glows. But only in that cooperation... you'd only glow to allied runners.
Both these skins would be a grind... and would require Coop challenges. And these challenges CANNOT be cheesed or exploited... that's ⚠️ SUPER IMPORTANT ⚠️.
Why?
So, that if you see a Rook with "Crossing Guard" or "Virgil"... you'd know they had to team up and cooperate to earn them.
You could be fairly certain that Rook is trustworthy.
And that's why IT NEEDS to be a grind... it has to be NOT worth it for someone whom is not actually committed to that gameplay loop.
