On the character page it shows my gernade at 160. It looks like it goes up to 200 with my build/perks, and I know 200 is the max stat. My question is does the extra build/perks that make up the extra (its green) max it out, or does getting 200 on the main stats build max out at 200 and any perk/build extra add on.

Good info below. I'll add 2 random tips. Be aware of your subclass fragments, as some of them will add or subtract from certain stats. I had my Solar Warlock sitting pretty with a 200 grenade stat & thought I could use the same armor for a Prismatic build, but one of my Prismatic fragments subtracted 10 points from my grenade stat :( Also, if you have a tier 5 armor piece with the extra +5 tuning on your highest spike AND an additional +10 mod for that spike, it should max at 45 points for that stat... but for some reason, it will display as only 42 points. For example: if you have a Tier 5 Grenadier chest piece with 30 grenade points, then you add a +10 grenade mode, AND you tune the extra +5 for grenade as well... it will contribute 45 points to your total grenade stat, but will only show as 42 points on the actual armor piece. It seems to be just a display bug... but can still be confusing for new/returning players.

1 ReplyAll stats should only be capped at 200 regardless of how you achieve them. With armor mods or weapon traits.

200 is the max cap for all stats. If you manage to get above 200, you will receive no additional bonus.
