I recently installed Destiny 1 to play with my nephew so that he could then go into Destiny 2. But after installing all content that I've purchased certain armors are grayed out and says that it requires the DLC. Called Microsoft thinking it was a license issue, they said it was all fine on their end. Last time i played D1 was YEARS ago, current armor that's grayed and requiring Taken king DLC is the Stormcaller Bond. Does anyone know if i just need to redo the quest or if I'm SOL and can't use it anymore. I can't use my Dead Orbit bond either. But i don't think the allegiance groups are around anymore... i had Dead Orbit and New Monarchy, Both grayed out. Anyway any help or input would be much appreciated.
Years ago Microsoft accidentally gave that to players for free - they later revoked the licenses from people that claimed it. Some were still able to access it but that eventually fixed itself as people got the mandatory license revocation issued. 2 things to do before contacting MS again: - Check the Xbox store for Destiny 1 and see if, without the collector edition items addon installed, it tells you that you own it. - Go through your purchase history and make sure its actually on your accounts purchase history. If it isn't, then you likely had the above bug and weren't intended to keep it.

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. As a first step, we recommend you try restoring your licenses, if you haven't done so already. Following that, if issues in accessing your content persist, the most likely cause of the issue would be that the relevant Add-Ons and DLCs are not checked/installed. To alleviate this, we recommend clearing your console cache, then confirming the status of your Add-Ons and DLCs in your Xbox game Library. Following that, you may need to reinstall Destiny 1 if issues persist.
