Now with the Marathon announcement that it's releasing March 5th, there's reports that the mid-DLC update will be delayed. Far too many of us saw this coming, but everyone wanted to bury their head in the sand.
Bungie is focusing more and more on Marathon. The sad part is, it may stay that way. Everyone should be prepared for a world where Destiny ends up even more neglected. If you look at steam right now, with preorders opening up it's at the 5th most preordered game right now. That will be enough for people at Bungie to be told to shift focus in the short term, and if Marathon finds success? That will all but guarantee that Destiny will be a legacy franchise with delayed releases, slowed updates, and even fewer people working on it to keep it going.
We're set up to see the final moments of Destiny, and it's sad how it's happening.

Just remember it's a rumor it has not been confirmed by bungie but honestly if they did that it will be very stupid it would be a disaster. Just know the update for March 3rd that update is supposed to bring the rest of the conquest it's opposed to introduce new systems and possibly even more additional content. If bungie is willing to sacrifice content for destiny two for the sake of a new PVP game that's utterly stupid. Example think about it last year we had an active number of nearly 200000 players now it's down to 2000. Logically if they delay this event like the way it sounds it will bring a player numbers down even more... Frankly at this point bungie's concern should be bringing back players not decreasing players it sounds like they're willing to sacrifice this game for other projects when in the past they said they would never do example netease (2020) project matter.
