Now with the Marathon announcement that it's releasing March 5th, there's reports that the mid-DLC update will be delayed. Far too many of us saw this coming, but everyone wanted to bury their head in the sand.
Bungie is focusing more and more on Marathon. The sad part is, it may stay that way. Everyone should be prepared for a world where Destiny ends up even more neglected. If you look at steam right now, with preorders opening up it's at the 5th most preordered game right now. That will be enough for people at Bungie to be told to shift focus in the short term, and if Marathon finds success? That will all but guarantee that Destiny will be a legacy franchise with delayed releases, slowed updates, and even fewer people working on it to keep it going.
We're set up to see the final moments of Destiny, and it's sad how it's happening.

2 RepliesHope for the best expect the worst. Except in Bungie’s case hope for improvements died some five-six years ago. Only hope players have now is a full fledged take over with Bungie working smaller tickets. If I had any say, Id bring on the guys who made Rising and put them in charge of the lot. Least they seem to give a damn.
