Don't attribute to malice what can be explained by sheer incompetence. I personally would have preferred it if this [i]was[/i] an intentional killing of the game, at least that implies someone with intelligence sat down and decided to make this happen, rather than the studio being staffed by a bunch of witless goons. I would explain the preorder bonuses as being typical practice for Bungie. They know there is a vulnerable sub population of the playerbase that will lap up anything Bungie, so why not do this? After all it costs them almost nothing to throw in those cosmetics.
